Queens Masonic District

The Queens District once again will be hosting its forty-third educational seminar on Saturday, April 13, 2024. It will be held at the Masonic Hall of Rockville Centre, 28 Lincoln Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570, beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 1:00 PM. The QUEST seminar is open to all Brothers in the District and outside the District.

Those Brothers that have attended a QUEST seminar in the past, we welcome you back. For those Brothers that have never attended a QUEST seminar, we welcome you to attend an educational experience you will never forget.

Allow me to give you an idea of what to expect. You will start off with a continental breakfast after you register. After the Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master are escorted into the Lodge room the seminar will begin. You will receive a welcome from the Queens GL Staff Office (emcee) who will advise you of the procedures and what will be expected of you. Next, a welcome from our DDGM, then there will be an informative Keynote Address from VW Michael LaRocco, the Executive Director of the Chancellor Robert R. Livingston Library of Grand Lodge. He also will be bringing some artifacts from the museum to display and explain. Next on the agenda are the Breakout Sessions. The attendees are broken up into multiple small groups randomly to discuss questions related to the theme. This has always been the favorite part of the seminar, as Brothers get to voice their opinions and hear other opinions on the subject. We then take a break after which we will receive remarks from the Deputy Grand Master. The Grand Master then will close the seminar with an insightful address to each of you. Next, you will be provided with a lunch consisting of many hot entrees and sides.

At registration you will have been given a folder containing a 28-page program booklet which includes a large amount of educational material along with additional educational handouts to bring home with you. The educational material is geared towards Brothers seeking leadership material as well as new Brothers seeking more light in our Craft. There will be Lodge Services educational material available for purchase. You will receive a certificate of attendance for your participation in the seminar. You get all this, plus a breakfast, lunch, and the ability to mingle with old and new acquaintances.
